Sad to see Dr. Rob Loehr go. After decades, I finally found a psychiatrist willing to work with my brain injury history. Other than that I have been impressed by the staff.
So far have had a great experience with psychiatry at Bluestem. Provider listens and cares about making sure medications are working for me. My old psychiatrist was very opinionated and prescribed medications based on their personal bias, without taking consideration for the needs of the person. The one I’ve seen here at Bluestem isn’t like that at all. Recommend to anyone who struggles with finding the right medications/dosages for co-occurring mental healthy disorders.
Ana doesn't listen. I was very clear about what I wanted out of treatment and she ignored everything I said that didn't align with what she wanted to hear. She had her own goals and focused solely on them. She was so pushy about changing my meds and forcing further appointments that I had to lie about why I wasn't coming back. I felt completely invalidated, like she didn't have a clue why I was there. This was far from my 1st rodeo but it was a very typical experience. I no longer believe help is out there.
