This is true art. A strong understanding of the best fresh, seasonal produce and a fearlessness when it comes to creating and trying something new. Every plate in my 10 course tasting menu was stunning - especially the scallops. The wine matches were also brilliant; balanced and well thought out. Thank you so much to the front of house team for your warm and knowledgeable service; it was a real joy. Highly recommended!
Had a lovely anniversary dinner here the other night with my husband. We loved everything!
Went to bluestem for the first time this weekend for Sunday brunch, it was awesome! Only disappointing thing is that they are getting rid of Sunday brunch and closing on Sundays. Bummer.
It's the first time I have visited a place with this type of fine cuisine and won't be the last. My wife and I ordered off the 5 course menu and it was obsolutely wonderful. Food , atmosphere and service was great. Thanks Bluestem
Bluestem is unquestionably the finest restaurant in KC. Staff is very pleasant and knowledgeable, from the young man who took our reservations to the attentive servers. The food is not only delicious but most beautifully presented. We can't wait to go back.
Amazing place and I have ate all over the States and Europe.
Me and my wife eat all over the U.S. and surrounding and were supremely impressed by the staff and the amazing cookery that came out of the Kitchen. This is the place to go if you know anything about food. I can honestly say that the food was seasoned to perfection and very well thought out. Every course left me wanting more and more. This restaurant is so amazing!!! My husband had me try it about 5 years ago and we have been eating there ever since! I am a little bit of a picky eater but stuff I normally would not eat they make it into amazing dishes! Tonight we went here for our anniversary and once again they did not disappoint. Tonight was our first experience at bluestem. Oh my goodness...words cannot describe how much we enjoyed it! We ordered five courses and were pleasantly surprised by the amuse-bouches that started our evening. The five courses I had were the pea soup, ricotta cappelletti with braised rabbit, pork belly, ribeye, and the chocolate mousse for dessert.
