Asking questions of the medical staff is not welcomed. It’s as though they feel threatened personally.

The absolute worst vet care! They take peoples money and charge people for things that weren’t done! My son was charged almost $1000 for them to wrap Coban and a plastic piece around his dogs leg that wasn’t even properly done didnt keep the dogs knee immobile. I have requested a 💯refund and awaiting a return call. They even talked that the only cure was amputation. Our dog is in surgery and only required 2 pins that were optional but what was deemed best due to the active nature of the dog at and amazing vet in Nashville t... read more

Zero stars. Our dog was discharged home after blood work and X-rays were “normal.” She continued to decline. I requested copies of blood work and saw that some levels were elevated, took her back (huge mistake) and requested an ultrasound. They found a foreign object in her intestines. She was “babysat” for 3 more days-given fluids and sedative. She saw 5! veterinarians during her stay. All said surgery was NOT warranted despite her vomiting and painful abdomen. Five thousand dollars later, we brought her home and took her t... read more

Dr. Fuller at Blue Pearl in Franklin saw our 15 year old dog at the Franklin location on an early weekend morning. He quickly determined that our boy had a spleenic tumor that had ruptured and he was bleeding out into his abdomen. Dr. Fuller was empathic, compassionate and fully explained the options we had. The decision was very difficult, but he guided us through with empathy and kindness. I am so thankful for this surgical resident currently at Blue Pearl! The staff all were friendly and very helpful. The facility is... read more

Worst customer service I’ve ever received. The receptionist was SO condescending. Kept talking over me, refusing to listen to any questions, made snarky remarks and raised her voice at me. And then she would remind me that they are the top of the line emergency clinic. Definitely not top of the line when it comes to customer service, compassion, listening to others, or caring for anyone who’s beloved pup is facing a life threatening situation. Front desk is COLD and HEARTLESS. Don't go there. So glad I saw who they were BEFO... read more

My husband and I brought our Bernese Mountain Dog in because of pains he was having. Our first time at Blue Pearl was last December. They were fabulous and so kind! This time not so much. Because of safety measures during the COVID-19 outbreak we were told the estimate verbally on the phone while we waited outside. They recommended a rush x-ray review for $80. We agreed verbally to the $80 among the other charges. They then told us we needed an ultrasound but that would have to wait until Monday when the person performing th... read more

First, years ago, they successfully performed an operation in my dog's leg that was not in any way a guaranteed success. She never had a problem with it the last seven years of her life. Recently, while taking her to their clinic in an emergency, she passed away en route. They offered to keep her for a week until we decided what we wanted to do with her, gave us a clay relief of her paw print when we picked her up several days later, and sent us a sympathy card the following week. I'm not concerned about their prices or poli... read more
