Thank you for the great treatment of my dog Sandy. Even though the news was not good the sensitivity & care from Dr. Burns & Dr. Heinritz was superb.
Although they provided excellent service, took care of my Destiny (Chihuahua) very quickly, their prices are OUTRAGEOUS!!! $1200.00 for x-rays, IV fluids, Glucose and a stay at the hospital from 10:30 at night to 7:00a.m. Maybe they should consider making their prices somewhat reasonable. We transferred her to our vet, Sunburst Animal Clinic, Dr. Stevens at 7:00 a.m and she was there until 7:00 p.m. received the same treatment from them including X-Rays and the bill was only $240.00....what a difference. The staff are all amazing very helpful and friendly.
I can only say the best of things about the Emergency Animal Clinic. I've had my basset hound, Roscoe, in 3 times within the last 2 years. Bloat, pneumonia and the most recent visit was what I feared... cancer. From the receptionist, to the techs, to the vets, I've never had a complaint. Roscoe was babied and taken care of all 3 times. Unfortunately, this last visit, Roscoe didn't come home with me as the cancer had gotten the best of him. The staff was very compassionate, waiting until WE were ready. Horrible experience. My poor dog laid there on the cold floor , bleeding all over the place for over 2 hours before she was seen. The bill was outrageous and their stitch work was awful. She now has a massive infection that was probably obtained from there. I would never go back unless they were literally the only place on earth open. I was totally scammed, over charged and they under delivered. Enjoy your $600 bastards. I'm taking my pets to Alta Vista Pet Hospital from now on.
