After leaving a negative review, my wife received retaliatory billing invoices from Bluegrass Counseling and Trauma Services within an hour of posting her review (and roughly a year and half after her last communication with BCTS). For anyone who has had a similar experience, I suggest contacting the Kentucky Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and/or the Kentucky Board of Nursing (depending on your care provider) to file a complaint.

Awful. Truly devastating. I was bounced around counselors and not made aware of required testing for my diagnosis. When I didn’t complete the testing that I was never told was required, they dropped me completely. This was during a wildly tumultuous and stressful time in my life, while I was dealing with a major job transition, raising a child while my spouse was often gone, and completing a major project at work. In short: Scott Hopkins is spectacular therapist for children and adolescents. Longer version: My wife and I expected some pretty bullheaded resistance from our (all-too-literally) too-cool-for-school son when we scheduled him an appointment with Scott.
