After many great meals at the Bird I was amazed at the callous treatment last Saturday towards my son with special needs. Due to a feeding tube any food must be pureed . I asked the waiter if the soup of the day could be placed in a food blender then served in a mug with a straw. The waiter was told by the kitchen that they were too busy to do this. My son had milk for his dinner. Also my mother's napkin had a hearing aid sticker on it. No this was not her sticker. Yuck!

Our staff are good people who would do anything within reason for a customer and that includes helping someone with special needs of any kind. A great place to go and enjoy a good relaxing meal and beautiful scenery. We have celebrated special events there; birthdays, anniversaries, Thanksgiving and gathered with our church 50+ group for fellowship and excellent dining. The staff is courteous, attentive and friendly.
A definite favorite. Have enjoyed the food and view for at least fifty years!
Had a wonderful brisket sandwich that was out of this world! The bbq sauce was good too!!
