Stopped in today. Everything felt and appeared as a great coffee shop should. Lovely place. The gal who made our drinks has the program down and needs a raise for nailing it. However, as a Seahawks fan, one of the baristas was a Dolphins fan and tried to burst my pretty little Seahawk bubble with something about "Dolphins are awesome blah blah blah". It would be great if the baristas there could pat me on the back, tell me what I want to hear and that everything is going to be ok this football season.
I tried Bluebeard's today for the first time. I was greeted by a friendly guy. Talked with Batista making the coffee and he was friendly too. It was fun to see a gal roasting the beans. It smelled heavenly. Ordered iced mocha and it was very good. Not too sweet or too chocolaty. Atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. A nice place to meet up with friends.

Best coffee roaster in the South Sound by a long shot, and one of the best in the Northwest. The beans are never burnt, and showcase their terroir. Drinks are pulled & poured perfectly. The cafe itself is spartan and perhaps a bit drafty, but is nonetheless a great place to go do work (please order drinks every few hours if you plan to sit there all day!
