This was once a fantastic bacon, not anymore. It tastes like boiled fat. No smoke flavor, no savory, no salt, no purpose, just translucent thin fat. I seriously had to check the package to be sure I actually bought bacon. Two thumbs down, returning to the European Kielbasa because they know tradition and they understand the true art of charcaturie and why we do it, it's to preserve meats and have a unique stamp of identity on each region and product. Blue ribbon sausage is the best i been eating all my life.
Blue Bacon sucks. The bacon generates so much grease I have to take the pan outside after I’m done cooking because the smoke is so bad. I made the mistake of buying Blue Bacon last time at the store. I won’t make that mistake again.

5 stars. I was visiting my folks in Houston and I purchased a package of bacon for the first time- and ever since then, I have been hooked. I have tried a few of the well known "high dollar" bacon brands, but Blue Ribbon wins hands down. I love the aroma it leaves in the house for a while. I now make it a point to buy a package when I visit Houston. Are there any stores that sell the bacon in San Antonio?
