It seems as if every city in the U.S. has a place called the 'Blue Note'. In OKC however, this one is not named after the legendary jazz label. Nevertheless, since 1951 this particular one has provided the sounds of every type of music imaginable, not just jazz. This is a wonderful establishment for drinking beer, playing pool, taking shots, forgetting where you left your pants, watching people sing karaoke but not participating, forcing the staff to help you find your pants, enjoying the ample seating, finally finding your pants, and they also a lot of excellent shows and is one of the best reasons so many rad bands come to Oklahoma. They take excellent care of people over there. And their pants.
