Best Spa EVER!!!! – I was recently in town visiting a friend who suggested a spa day at Blue. I'm not really a "spa girl" but she mentioned they had medi treatments and that the spa looked unlike any I've ever seen which sparked my interest. SIMPLY THE BEST – Blue Spa in Sherman Oaks is the best recommendation that anyone has recommended to me. I have been to many medical spas and this one in particular was the best. the setting of the spa is great, very fun atmosphere, fun and delightful staff. Wow...what a mistake that was – This place is completely disorganized. They called me the night before my appointment and asked me to come in an hour early because thier nurse had to "leave early." So I get there and then have to wait 45 minutes!! The nurse said she did not know she had to leave early. Something fishy is going on. Anyways, to top it off they did not even accept my coupon that I printed off of THEIR website! That's my big mistake. A fancy website doesnt make a for a good experience. Buyer beware.

The best thing I've ever done! – So I decided to start looking into laser hair removal, because I get the WORST ingrowns and razor bumps from shaving, and when try and wax my skin becomes extremely irritated. Terrible Experience... Treatment Poor and Customer Service Terrible – I visited Blue Spa in Dec. '05 to get an IPL or photo facial. My friend got one at another medi-spa and I wanted a similar freshening up of the skin. I read all of the materials, spoke at length with the technician and was very excited. She assured me that I would see some results within a week but that I would feel much better about my skin within a few weeks. IPL is a procedure that addresses pigmentation, circulatory problems, tightens large pores and provides an overall rejuvenation. I heart blue – I've been coming to Blue for over a year now and absolultely love the spa and the people. A friend of mine suggested I try them for laser hair removal because I had ingrowns so severe I had to take antibiotics for the infection and they've been a godsend. My nurse, Ginger has been greatvery knowledgable, friendly and sensitive to my concerns (Im a baby about pain). In the course of 7 leg and underarm treatments all of the ingrowns and hairs are gone. Rude, Rude, Rude – The laser hair removal treatment was adequate, but medspas are a dime a dozen in L.A. and I wish I could have picked an establishment that values customer service and treat their clients with more respect.
