Great Sushi – This restaurant has been slowly coming into its own. There is a lot of space in there and the seating is spread out. The ambience is nice, but their is a lot of open space. The food is great, the sushi is presented beautifully, and it tastes great too. I recomend The Big Pay Roll, and of course the dragon roll...out of all my dragon roll experiences, this one had the longest shrimp tails on each end.
Wow!!!! – In my continual quest for the best sushi in SF, I discovered Blue Fin and it won my heart. The food is truly spectacular -- fresh, creative, and great portions. The best uni in town!!!!!
Always a great sushi meal – Quite simply, this is my favorite sushi restaurant! Chef Paul creates flavorful and beautifully presented sushi, sashimi, plus some innovative entrees as well. Try the Romeo & Juliet roll, the Blue Fin Maki roll, and the Spicy Crunchy Maki roll. The spicy scallop gunkan sushi is a personal favorite. Excellent restaurant!! – We went to Blue Fin for a birthday party & had a great time!! The food was wonderful and we went early (6pm) and was able to take advantage of the 1/2 off appetizers during happy hour! If we could've, I'm sure our party would have eaten more! I like everything I had & all the dishes were very artistic, just like another person had mentioned. Excellent Sushi – Before Blue Fin, I was at Deep Blue a couple of times enjoying chef Paul's artistic and fresh rolls. This time around, I am absolutely blown away. Took a couple of freinds there and everything we ordered was perfect. I highly recommend Sea King roll and Romeo and Juliet, displayed artisticly. Excellent Food – I came here with my fiance Aug 2004. We had an early dinner, and took advantage of the 5-7pm happy hour for appetizers, which are not only delicious but pleasing to the eye as well. We shared the seared tuna appetizer and I would highly recommend that. The butterfish Nigiri is also a must. Food came out a tad slow, but probably because we had an early dinner and the kitchen was just getting started (?). In anycase, I would highly recommend this restaurant.
