Wow... – Their service is amazing. Waitresses are attentive to your every need. They come by the table often so you never have to raise your hand to get service. Their food is awesome and inventive. Have you tried their Kaki Shot... if not, try it. It's an experience worth having. Overall atmosphere of this place is outstanding.
the food was soooo creative, the ambience was suprisingly cool compared to the outside, amazing service, and you get a good idea of what you are ordering since they have pictures and videos showing how they are made. best sushi i've had in all of sf!
Love this Place – I can't believe it's been so long since I've written another review. By far, still my favorite Japanese Restaurant in the city. Since my last post, I have probably come here ~10 times. Still love the Unagi fried rice! A bit oily.. but just drink the hot sake to break it down. The ceviche is awesome! Fresh beautiful and unique – This is simply the best sushi in town. The sushi is fresh, the presentation is gorgeous and the atmosphere is casual and fun. My favorite sushi nigiri is definitely the butterfish. If you've never tasted this fish, it's a must have. Good for sushi lover – If you are sushi lover,that is the right place for you.Blue Fin is fusion style restaurant.They have high gualilty of fish.They always have somethings new on special board.The live scallop, live Uni,Blue Fin Toro,Walu , Wasabi Tako and Cherry Stone Clam are Excellent. They also have many creative rolls like seaking roll.vocano roll,Hawaii roll,etc.They alway busy on weekend.so parking is a little hard , but there is a parking lot on 18th Ave .
its ok This used to be a really cool place to go and hang out, but now they have raised the prices. It has become more of a yuppy hang out. This place used to be a sports bar, but now it doesnt really fit into restraurant or bar. Only if they had kept it the same way of old. I guess this isnt so bad since there are only a hand full of nice bars in this area
Big space, decent food, left hungry The food tastes okay here and service is okay, but the portion is too small. We kept ordering one after the other, and still we left hungry. The food is visually pleasing, but not necessarily filling.
User review by party42 – Chef Paul is always out doing himself. Great food W/Knowledgable and friendly staff. The large selection of sushi and appetizers were fresh and cooked perfectly. Great for large parties. Highly recommend everyone try this hidden jewel.
