I used to think highly of Blue Bottle and have visited many of their cafés over the years. That is part of why this is disappointing to write. In my experience, the brand no longer clearly delivers the level of coffee quality its pricing suggests. The espresso is often unbalanced and merely acceptable rather than excellent, and the milk drinks no longer show the kind of consistency or technical execution I used to associate with Blue Bottle. Great coffee and great atmosphere
Blue bottle is ridiculously consistent across their locations! This particular chain seems to have figured out the formula! What also impresses me is how their employees understand the delicate balance of small talk & hospitality without blurring the lines familiarity without rapport. Whoever put together their on board training needs a trophy! The vibe is minimalist and clean! The bathrooms are pristine! Put that together with varied roasts that don't agitate the gut... blue bottle gets it done! Keep up the great work!
No line but it consistently takes 15 mins to get coffee. Too many online orders. Takes same time as Maru
