15 years of good service I've been going to this salon since my daughter was born and this year marks 15 years. I have read the reviews posted on this site and decided to make a comment about my experience. I am a very particular person and have requested on many occasions "special treatment" from my stylist, Kimberly, who happens to be the owner. She has always accommodated my requests. Great Service I just started going to this salon when they opened at the Santa Anita Promenade and I like it. The employees are really friendly and you get what you ask for. The salon is pricey compared to the $15 haircut i would get before but its worth it when they give you a great haircut and service and when they don't mess up your hair.
Fantastic! I have been going to Blu Aveda Salon (formerly Eclipse Salon) since I moved to CA in 2007 and not only do I love my hair but I get compliments on my hair - cut and color - all the time.
Jennifer is the best!! I went to the Arcadia Blu Aveda Salon last week and I just have to rave about it! I had gotten a poor quality haircut elsewhere, and I tried to fix it myself- which made it even worse. I called Blu Aveda and Jennifer squeezed me into her schedule and SAVED my summer. She is sooo adorable sweet and talented. She turned a disaster into a stylish hairdo that people think I got on purpose- not as a "fixer". She is the BEST!!!!!
BLU is the BEST I moved to CA from TN in August. I needed to find a salon that not only delivered quality service, but also warm and friendly hospitality to their clients. I am very glad I discovered BLU. I have been a regular client since my first visit with Andy. He is the best!!
Hip salon, terrible customer service mistake was made and they robotically stood firm on POLICY- okay fine policy won't let them make a human intervention, but a sincere "I apologize..." what have made the experience worth given them a 2nd chance BLU AVEDA Salon Makes huge marketing mistake...should always accomidate customer, and apologize for another employee's mistake, instead of making excuses and making a scene
Incredibly bad eyebrow waxing experience I had my first ever eyebrow waxing done by Kimberly and it was great. I went back for a second and told her I ~loved~ what she did. She then gave me a totally different wax: uneven, 2 holes in my left brow, no arch in my right, all the hairs pointing down not up. She never asked me if I wanted a different shape, she offered no apology or opportunity to have me come back in in a few weeks to fix it and she didn't offer to comp the fee. Great Stylist, but... I adored Elizabeth, who trimmed and styled my hair for only $35. She was attentive, listened to what I wanted, and was extremely careful to not take too much off my hair. She didn't push any merchandise, complimented me on my haircare habits, and put little product on my hair because she said I didn't need a lot. Hip Chic Salon in Arcadia I usually go all the way to the west side to get my hair done but a friend of mine told me about this salon. Her hair looks great so I thought I would save myself the drive across town. I was so impressed by the knowledge my stylist had about hair color. I really like the haircut I had and she didn't try to talk me into something I didn't want. I got a great shampoo, a hand massage with hot towels, and a martini!!
