HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I received a free birthday blow out offer online. This was perfect timing as I had a wedding to go to and decided I could use it then. I booked my appointment days in advance, received 2 confirmation emails and was on my way to Blu Salon. 10 minutes before my appointment (I'm in the car), I get a call from Jody telling me they have to move my appointment to a later time (2 hours later) because it wasn't scheduled properly. HORROR! NO ACCOUNTABILITY. DO NOT GO FOR COLOR. I came in as a very light blonde and asked for a medium golden blonde. To my horror, I left a grey, dark blonde with almost orange roots. I was told it would wash and fade. But the orange keeps getting oranger, and the grey, greyer. I am so deflated and don't even want to leave my house my hair looks so bad.

Very happy to have found Blu I was so pleased to find Loretta at Blu. She is a great colorist and stylist. She really listened and took the time to understand what I was trying to achieve, and completely exceeded my expectations. This is the first stylist I have been to in 10 years of living in the LA area who has given me the color and cut I wanted!!

Judgment My wife came home and felt as though she was judged for using at home hair products. She felt obligated to spend $100 over our budget because of the actions of some of the people in this salon. It was not a good experience for her.

Love it! One of the best salons I've ever been to. Everyone's really friendly and attentive. The stylists really know what they're doing and they really listen to what you want. They also have a great line of products!

Best Salon in San Gabriel Valley This Salon is the greatest. I have been a client for over two years and every time I leave the salon I am pleased with the results. Blu has the best products that are safe for the environment, great prices, and the staff is always professional and attentive to every need. this is an upscale salon and has a warm and friendly atmosphere this salon has excellent service however is expensive for a color and cut for med length hair. the cost is 95. they serve you water while your waiting i went here a couple of times to see the hairdresser that was the recommended

good for first timer waxing i had never had any bikini waxing done so this was a very scary thing for me. but they were very nice. natasha explained everything to me and made me feel really comfortable with her. she also was very professional. i felt that she really knew what she was doing which is important for me. the experience turned out to be not as scary as i thought.
