It was very unfavorable for the "surprise" price. I ordered the blackboard deal and ordered the "meat" option for my entree. It was tough and smorhered with sauces to try to disguise the low quality cut. The livers werent bad, and the shitake mushrooms were mushy and unpleasant. Lemon mousse was so-so at best. The Outback steakhouse would have been better. The bill comes and i find only then that the "meat option" is a $15 upcharge. Had a great time at BLT the Dover Sole was great, also had that delicious beet salad, Brussels sprouts and potatoe Gratin, service was great.
There are a lot of things I like about BLT. It is so easy to pull up and use their concierge service for parking. Their service in their restaurant BLT is top drawer. BUT....their food is less than par. You start off with hot popovers offered with butter and salt. Good start. However, their entrees are mediocre if that. This is not from one visit but several. Convenience and service -- 10! Food -- 3.
