Excellent experience. The wait staff service was great. My steak was over cooked (I didn’t give a specific cook, but described what I like) and they rectified it to perfection. The suggested wine pairing was excellent as well.
I was there last night with my brother, and the experience was nothing short of perfect. Our server Sam was incredibly knowledgeable regarding the menu and food preparation, and was quick and courteous, always with a smile on his face. The wait staff was very quick as well. The halibut was delicious! Complex sauce. Salad was generous. Sticky pudding dessert was ok—not outstanding. Expected a higher level of service from a place at the Ritz and at those prices.
The service was great but the food was average for the price. I had brunch and my wife had soup and a sandwich. I was expecting more and for it to be better tasting. Honestly we could have gotten better food at the famous Toastery and for a lot cheaper. We went once and that is enough.
I have been twice for Restaurant week once this summer and then last night. Top notch. The popovers, salmon, steak, salad and mousse was amazing.
