Disappointing They get three stars for their artistic arrangements, but they are pricey. And as long as you are spending the "big bucks" they are great but when you are buying small stuff (like boutonnieres) they talk to you like you are wasting their time.
Fresh, delightful, unique arrangements If you're going to send me flowers, please send them from Bloomsters! Bloomsters is an Almaden institution and they have the best, most original bouquets and arrangements. Great, friendly service and a very nice selection of gifts make it a lovely store to visit as well. It's a great place to find housewarming gifts, teacher's gifts, or a little gift for yourself. Wedding Topper Bloomster's just did my daughter's wedding on 6/7/08 & it was perfect. The flowers/foliage on the ceremony columns make the pictures look great. They used part of the her wedding dress on her bridal bouquet & her mini calla lilies were exactly as we had hoped. The centerpieces got RAVE reviews at the wedding. Since Bloomster's is a little pricey --- I had to go with a cheaper centerpiece for my 14 tables but, they were spectacular. overpriced I think Bloomsters has very unique flower arrangements, but the prices are too high. It is a great place to walk into to get ideas for designs and then go to Michaels to find the same doodads and the make your own arrangement with flowers bought from Safeway.
Little pricey Nice when you walk in, it's beautiful in fact. But, it's a bit on the pricey side so I don't go there for much. I have a few friends who like it but I can't get into them.
USED TO BE The Best Flower Shop I am editing my original review which is still found after these notes. I went into Bloomsters today and was treated terribly. I needed to order a boutiniere for my daughter to give to her date this weekend. I was told they could not help me because they quit taking orders yesterday. There is no sign anywhere in the shop stating this. I told them that my daughter is a freshman and did not realize she needed to order this sooner. Bloomsters- poor service I met with a Bloomsters florist to get ideas and prices on arrangements for my wedding. I met with him with 3 weeks ago and have yet to receive a response by phone or email. I walked away that day extremely happy with all his help and ideas, but as soon as I told him my budget his face seemed to change. He assured me that he'd send me a quote within 2 weeks at the very latest and try to work with our budget as much as possible, but after attempting to contact them numerous times I have yet to receive... read more
Top notch I think this place is top notch. If you are looking for something very special and different, this is the place for you. It is pricey but you get a more unique arrangement. I also go there just for ideas and to look at their nice pots/containers and accessories.
