Hooey! From these posts it almost sounds like Dr. Millikan is a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde. I got Mr. Hyde. My first trip to Dr. Daniel Millikan was two years ago. He put in a filling that had a sharp edge and left a big gap between my teeth. So I called and they had me come in and the hygienist smoothed the sharp edge. About the gap, she told me the only way to fix was to remove the filling and have the dentist try again. Dr. Millikan assuaged my fears of the dentist :) I don't agree with any poor review of Dr. Millikan at all. I have had some truly horrible experiences with dentists, and at 22 I was absolutely petrified to try a new dentist-which is exactly why I chose a place called "Gentle Dentist." From the beginning, Dr. Millikan was understanding, kind and patient with me and my needs, and has even granted me favors because I am a full-time student and have issues paying for some of my procedures. A Truly Horrible Experience My experience with Dr. Millikan was horrible. I had two crowns placed by Dr. Millikan. Neither seemed to fit in my mouth properly. I went in twice to have my bite adjusted. I complained about the level of pain I was having and was told to take 4 Alleve. That seemed like a little much to me, so I checked with my doctor who informed me that would be considered an overdose and not to do it. A Big thank You to Gentle Dentist My experience with This office Was great. I had some fillings done a root canal and 2 crowns . The tooth with the root canal started hurting late Thursday night i was able to reach Dr. Millikan at home . He gave me a prescription to help with the infection and pain . He also made sure that i was seen first thing Monday. Dr. Millikan did the root canal and that evening his staff called to make sure i was feeling better. I couldn't be happier with my experience . Dr. Millikan is AWESOME!!!!! Dr. Millikan has been my dentist for 2 years and honestly I am sooo glad that I found him! He is such an honest and caring dentist. He won't pull any punches, he lets you know what you need and emphasizes that it is in your best interests. I have never been afraid of getting my shots when I have work done, but it still has always hurt. With Dr. Millikan I have never even felt anything but a little pinch, he is incredibly gentle. My filling keeps falling out I came to this dentist after about 2 years of not going to see a dentist. While I was there I was informed that i needed four fillings and a root canal, and they wanted to fix my canines. I asked if they could fill my slightly chipped front tooth by just adding some dentin to it and they said yes.

Awful... completely Absolutely the worst dentist I have ever been to. Faulty filling installation, un-smooth surfaces... etc. I actually had one filling fall out and they are now refusing to fix it. Yes, so I would definitely not recommend going unless you like being screwed.
