I am disabled, they all know me and my little quirks I usually spend my entire food budget here every month the prices ar great, and as I have heard soo many times about meat quality, I can assure you that for the most part I have never come across, A bad piece of meat there, they do reduced pricing on meats before they are really supposed to, so the meat is still great, I can honestly Sy tht most of the complaints are from people who actually have no understanding of meat handling .
I think the ow er is one of the most caring people I've come across, the staff are great variety of people, and anyone is always willing to help you. Weekly sales are amazing. Fresh baked bread to die for. ;-)
The employees are the greatest. Kind, friendly and very helpful. That's what keep me coming back. Thank you.

This is the dirtiest, most decrepit grocery store I've seen that's not in Detroit. The expired food rack is amazingly cheap but harbors numerous potentially dangerous bacteria. My favorite things about Shur Save are; the lottery line, Backwoodsman magazine, outdated chewing tobacco brands like Beech Nut and Mail Pouch, and bootleg t shirts that say "Bloomfield" in the Budweiser logo. Also I once saw a man run out of there with an arm full of steaks and employees chased him down.
Cleanest grocery store I've ever been in. Well stocked and a terrific produce section.
