I’m embarrassed to say how long it’s been since I’ve been to a dentist because of fear from past dental work when I was younger. I was so nervous before I came in to get the seven cavities filled! I couldn’t believe how smooth, easy and painless the experience was. I was worried over nothing. Dr. Blodgett and his team are amazing!
I went in for a mercury (silver) filling removal. I was referred to Dr. Blodgett by the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology's SMART-certified dentist directory. (SMART=safe mercury amalgam removal technique, iaomt.org) Upon learning that Dr. Blodgett was the first dentist in Oregon to get SMART-certified, I knew this was where I wanted to go. I loved that everyone was very friendly. As a mom of two young boys this first trip to your practice was more spa like and relaxing then my other dental experiences! It was so great that you spent so much time with me getting to know so much about me to get to the root cause of my dental health!
What a refreshing visit to the dentist. The initial visit was really comfortable and inviting, Maggie was wonderful and the tests and visuals were amazing to see. Never experienced such a visit. So glad I found this practice.
I was impressed with my first trip to Blodgett Dental Care. After doing a lot of research about the toxicity of amalgam (mercury) fillings, I made the decision to leave my long time traditional dentist and seek out a holistic dentist. At Blodgett, they were able to answer my questions and concerns. They took a ton of photos and xrays and then explained everything thoroughly about the current condition of my teeth and gums. short review because of painful hand. teeth were dirtier than usual, and i was concerned that cleaning would be invasive. no problem - mara used her new techie tool which swiftly and painlessly did the job. pleased as usual.

I came in to get a second opinion for some major dental concerns. I was very impressed with how thorough and superior the exam and analysis was compared to the previous one, as well as the high level of competence and caring of Dr. Blodgett and his assistant Maggie.
