He repaired my left inguinal hernia and did a fantastic job. Dr. Blitstein is an extraordinarily gifted surgeon who walks on water as far as I'm concerned! The only issue is that because he is in such high demand it is difficult to schedule an appointment sooner than a month or more out.

I had been suffering from a hyatal hernia and acid reflux for four years and getting a couple hours of sleep a night , mostly in a recliner. When I got out of recovery from the surgery, I immediately had been relieved of the pressure in my chest and no longer had stomach fluids going up to my esophagus. He is an excellent surgeon and I can’t thank him enough for helping. He has given me a new lease on life. Thank you Dr. Blitstein

Dr Blitstein had the pleasure of UNTWISTING my stomach after repairing a “GIANT” hiatal hernia AND removing my gallbladder. His bedside manner is wonderful. He remained straight and to the point throughout this entire time. I can not recommend Dr Blistein enough!

Late 2018 LINX surgery. I cannot recommend Dr. Blitstein highly enough. Extremely thorough, professional, diligent and meticulous; resulting in outstanding patient outcome/results. LINX has been a monumental game-changer for me. If you choose Dr. Blitstein, you're in the best hands. (Cool guy, to boot.)

I would give Dr Blitstein 5 stars except for his staff. Colleen is particularly uncaring and unhelpful. My daughter had severe back pain 8 days after her gallbladder removal. We didn't know if this was from residual gas, leaking bile or gallstones remaining in her bile duct. When I called the office, Colleen's response was, "No, you can't see Dr. Blitstein today, he's not in the office. You can't see him tomorrow, he's fully booked. Go to the ER if you need to."

Dr. Blistein did an amazing job with my situation. He is an excellent surgeon and knew exactly what to do to give me the best care. He was faced with a challenging emergency hernia surgery due to the small intestine getting trapped and constricted. Incompetent and unprofessional. I had an appointment and reports from an ultrasound had been sent to him about a 3cm by 5cm mass in my hip which looks purple and hurts when sitting and sleeping. He spent 5-7 minutes stating he did not see anything and spoke with no compassion and in a humiliating way, disregarding a patient's desire to know what it could be. I advise anyone looking for a healthcare professional so keep looking, the word "Doctor" is too powerful to be had by Blitstein.

I would recommend Dr. Blitstein. He is an awesome surgeon and has a great bedside manner. I felt very comfortable in his office. He was very easy to talk to and answered all questions. I have no complaints.

Two weeks ago I had Dr. Blitstein perform surgery for a hiatal hernia. My hernia was quite large with, at least, 3/4 of my stomach in my chest cavity. The situation was complicated by the fact that I am in constant afib and am on a blood thinner. Dr. Blitstein was very reassuring in our meetings before surgery and all the possible things he told me might happen as far as pain and other situations which could cause discomfort simply did not happen.
