Save your money, Avoid going there at all cost! – I have tried their facial, manicure & pedicure by three different women, and I would never go there again. 1) The receptionist had an attitude! 2) The woman who gave me my facial told me I had a different type of skin from what every other spa told me. She was wrong. User review by bella_h – Very disappointing!! I had a confirmed appointment the afternoon before my vacation. When I called to ask a question they said there was a problem with my reservation and they could not fit me in despite my e-mail confirmation. At that point it was too late to get an appointment anywhere else.

Just Another Disappointing New York Spa – Summary of a letter to Bliss49: I recently had a disappointing wax at Bliss49... it's actually one of the worst I've ever had. First, immediately after the wax, my arms broke into what looked like hives. In 20 years of waxing, I've never had such a reaction. Second, rather than applying wax in the direction of hair growth, wax was applied straight down from elbow to wrist, resulting in breakage rather than removal of hair. Overrated – I went to Bliss 49 on a Thursday at 3pm for a Massage. The Spa was overbooked and there was no room to even sit in the waiting room. It was also very loud from all of the chatter. The massage was less than stellar and anything but relaxing. The technician was talking the entire time and spent the first 15 minutes putting on the paraffin wax bags on my feet...STILL TALKING!
