The receptionists are not really courteous at all. They made me wait for a long time. The procedures were done ok. I mean, it wasn't great but not horrible either. The dental assistant was nice though. The oral surgeon asked me to go in for a check even though it wasn't really necessary in the end. Apparently, they ask you to go have a check anyway, so that they can collect the fee ("we always ask our patients to come in to take the stitches out", "no, I put in dissolvable stitches, so there's no point to take them out")
Dr. Blank was very informative and was able to elliminate any apprehension that I had, I would recommend him anytime to anyone. He is a must-go-to surgeon.
Dr. Blank was reassuring and very pleasant, putting me at my ease immediately when I had to get an impacted wisdom tooth removed. As others noted, he has a great sense of humor too. I was so nervous and in a great deal of pain when I came in, so his demeanor was a nice surprise as some doctors can be brusque/insensitive. I have never been so scared in my life as I was before I got my wisdom teeth pulled! My general dentist told me to remove them 10 years ago but I put it off due to fear. I was in a lot of pain and had no choice. Dr. Blank was amazing! His wonderful sense of humor put me at ease. I was in the chair talking with him as I was given laughing gas, which by the way is "key" to getting your teeth pulled! Dr. Blank was great! His sense of humor kept my nerves to a minimum when he extracted all four of my wisdom teeth. I was given IV sedation which also helped keep me calm. There were minor instances of discomfort, but the procedure was completely painless. He took necessary precautions based on my past medical history, and his staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Blank. He performed the extraction of four wisdom teeth. I was 36 years old. It was painless and a speedy recovery. His office called me more than once to see how I was doing and to remind me to use hot/cold compresses, etc...I am/was very pleased with him. He also has a sense of humor that put me at ease. I have just recommended Dr. Blank to a good friend of mine who is in pain with wisdom teeth...hopefully it will work out for her. My insurance covered most of the cost..I only had to pay $300.
