This doctor cares about nothing but money. Avoid at all costs.

This doctor is simply out for your money. He won’t listen to you, his office staff is awful, and he should not be in the medical profession. Avoid at all costs.

I was 100 misdiagnosed in 2020. He claimed carpal tunnel and same thing in elbows. Had me wear pads like roller derby. Turns out a major pinched nerve and disc in my neck. Had to have emergency surgery to prevent a spinal stroke.Run away from this guy

Dr. Blaik is great. However, his office assistant or manager, whatever you want to call her, is very rude and does not care. She lies to patients, and will tell you she doesn't have the time to send your insurance the documentation for your prescriptions. She lies about sending out alerts and reminders, lies about scheduling appointments, and so much more. Why Dr. Blaik even keeps her is mind boggling. We are so tired of her and if it wasn't so difficult to switch neurologists, we would have already. They also will close the... read more

I was referred to Dr. Blaik by my PCP after exhibiting puzzling symptoms of numbness and weakness. After a few tests, Dr. Blaik diagnosed me with CIDP, a rare disease that often goes misdiagnosed for years. My diagnosis has since been confirmed by the disease's discoverer at the Mayo Clinic. As a result of his timely diagnosis, I got quock treatment that will prevent additional damage. Blaik's "bedside manner" can be gruff, but when your life is at stake, it's better to have a grizzly who knows what he's doing than a teddy b... read more

Absolutely the worst experience with a Dr. that I have ever experienced. He was condescending to say the least. He prescribed medication (pill) for my sister that is for dementia but insisted that she did not have dementia. When I tried to tell him that she was not taking her meds I was shut down. Not quite told to shut up but as close as you could get without actually saying it. She is diabetic and his lack of concern of her AIC levels was shocking. Telling her that the 14.0 a1c was of no bearing to her condition. Although ... read more

When I say this man does not give a flip about his patients, I mean it. My grandmother is clearly suffering from cognitive issues. This provider's testing consisted of an MRI and basic bloodwork. When we got the results, he told us that her only issues were age-related and that he would give her a special "vitamin" to help her. Another family member tried to tell him that she refuses to take any of her existing medications. He replied, "That is not a discussion for this appointment." In other words, shut up. When I asked him... read more

Went for EMG. Doctor was pleasant but condescending, dismissive and clearly hadn't read my medical file. When asked about the results he gave generalities, seemed offended I was asking and dismissed me quickly telling me "your doctor will explain this to you". Explain what? If he sends the same misinterpretation of the data how will the explanation improve. He closed by saying' "we're done. put on your close and leave". When I talk with the doctor who referred me I'll perhaps get a better interpretation of the EMG. So far me... read more
