Great salon! – I visited Blades today for the first time, after reading the reviews here on Citysearch. I have to add my own glowing review. Luke, who mans the front desk, is friendly and polite, greeting me by name when I walked in the door. The owner introduced himself while I waited for my stylist. Rachel did my haircut, and she sat with me and discussed what she felt would look best. She took the time to really find out what would work for me and my hair type. Wonderful People!! – Hi, I was just visiting the Blades site when I saw this. I have to give kudos to Blades. I discovered them at the Northwest Women's Show last month in Portland. They had several stylists set up and they offered free haircuts to anyone who would let them have creative freedom. My sister, niece and I all received free haircuts. Thankful and Impressed!!! – My little sister was starting her senior school year and I wanted to do something special for her so I treated her out to getting her hair cut and colored since she never had it done before. I set her up with an appointment at Blades where I, myself, get my hair done. She was so excited and impressed with the outcome. Great! – Rachel at Blades was wonderful. I went from having long blonde hair to short black hair and have never felt more myself. It looks great and is easy to style.
Perfect! – I've been to every notable salon in Salem, and a few in Portland, but they were all my mom's salons so I decided to venture out and find my own. Refreshing! – I have so much to say! Luke is absolutely awesome. He worked with me to get me in, and was so friendly! Ivy did my hair, and she was so honest and very skilled. David even put in his two cents and even though it wasn't what I wanted to hear, it was good to hear it. I will go back again and again!
Cute Hair! – Been going to Blades for about 8 years, Judy is my stylist. David is my mom's stylist. They are family to us. I get compliments on my hair and am often asked where I get it cut. I always tell them "Judy at Blades, 21st & Kearney, 223-5228". The best in the business!!
Just What I Needed! – I found Blades through citysearch and called them to give them a try. Right away I got in with an appointment and off I went to go get a haircut. As soon as I arrived I was greeted and offered something to drink and that made me feel comfortable right away. An experience you have to try! – My mother and I walked into Blades for the first time and before we even had a chance to sit down we were offered drinks and the owner stopped what he was doing to introduce himself! Being so picky, I was worried that I would leave unhappy. However Jordan was my stylist and he did a fantastic job and it will definitely be the salon I chose from now on!!
