Beautiful Scenery! The water fall is definitely nice during the winter time but just be carefull because the steps are Icy and the pizza at the lodge is very good. Check out this video of my experience! https://youtu.be/HGn5oMZ7wLk

I love to feel the water from the falls coming over on me. The falls are a really serene place for me to be.
Absolutely amazing park!! Love every inch of it!! Every time we go we find more things to do and more breathtaking sights!! Blackwater Falls is the centerpiece and is gorgeous - but don't miss the views from Pendleton Point and Lindy Point either. Both are also inside the park. And if you like to hike down into canyons, there's a trail that starts at the Lodge called the Elakala Trail that leads to the Elakala Falls. It is AMAZING!!! it is very beautful here, lots of walking though, poor Neal had to take his cane along int the saddle bag. We had a good time though and plan to go back soon and stay a night or two.
My husband and I both realized we had fallen in love with one another at Blackwater Falls State Park so we returned there to join our lives and families together on June 15, 2019. The beautiful scenery provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding day!
