I have been going to Blackwater falls and the surrounding area at least once a year for over 10 years... obviously, I love it there :)
The only reason it's getting any stars is because it's absolutely beautiful up here. We tried to go into the trading post at 4:50. The sign said they close at six. We watched the man go over and lock the doors as we walked up. Tried the snack bar where the girl working said they're closed. We pointed out that the sign said six. She said they closed at five today. We pointed out that it was only 4:50. Asked if we could just buy a bottle of water and she just said no. Scenery is amazing. The staff, not so much. I have been going to Blackwater Falls since I was a child and have watched it develop into a wonderful tourist attraction. The falls are magical

Beautiful spot. Breathtaking falls. Everyone should take the time to visit if vacationing in this area. The walkway to the falls is very professionally built. The surrounding area is beautiful. I would have liked more time at this spot but we were on a tour bus. I made a cell phone video to remember it.
