Food was great as was the service. The only problem I found was all the surfaces were hard. Nothing to absorb sound which made it difficult to talk at your table

The staff is friendly but don't go by yourself and get a drink at the bar, then sit at a table. You won't get a menu. The waitress will walk right by and won't ask if you need anything. If you go to the bar to order food, you'll have to go back to the bar to get it even if you're sitting two tables away. Next time I'll try sitting at a table and see if I can get the waitress to ask if I want a drink or a menu.
From time I walked in hostess was pleasant our waiter was very friendly checked on us often through out our lunch. Everyone's food was very good. I would definitely recommend Blackwall Hitch.
