I’ve been sending samples to Blackstone for the last few years for my diesel truck to keep tabs on the internal health of the engine. Diesel repairs are not cheap so it’s good to have some peace of mind that things are still working well inside. They are very quick and responsive, and the summary they provide with the test results is in layman’s terms and very straightforward and easy to read. Highly recommend.

Blackstone doesn't just send you the test results. They tell you what the results mean, in plain English, in a friendly short paragraph. It's like having coffee with your favorite mechanic while he carefully explains your car to you. I had Blackstone test my Honda Odyssey (169k) and my Mazda Miata (105k), and got a clean bill of health on both cars. Good! I'll keep 'em! But if I'd learned otherwise, I'd have known that it was time to sell.
Always informative and prompt with emailing results. I've recommended this company to plenty of my friends, car nut or otherwise, if they aren't already getting UOA's, and always keep a few spare kits in my car just in case!

I've been using Blackstone Laboratories for several years for my 2013 Wrx. The customer service is out of this world and their oil analysis and comment reports are amazing. I highly recommend them!
Used Blackstone many many times before and after rebuilding my Porsche engine, and continue to send them samples. Always helpful and insightful information and they will answer follow up questions via email as well. At 28 dollars it's a bargain for the peace of mind
