I bought a Clara having never played one before (pre-order before they'd officially been released), and with EXTREMELY high hopes. I'd never played a ukulele that did everything I wanted it to up to that point (small size, big sound, great intonation, tone for days ...etc.). Three years later I've played hundreds of ukuleles and it's THE BEST sounding uke I've ever played. I've heard the same comment countless times as well from friends that have picked it up. Can't wait to have an Ekoa guitar!
The carbon fiber lucky 13 really makes those high notes cut thru the lows, as compared to woods. Dynamite !!!
Yey finally my Clara is coming from Carmine Street Guitars in New York Fell in love with the sweet & deep brilliant sound. Needed to have it in Mexico :)
First I bought the Clara and fell in love with that. Now, I have the Farallon and it's even more of a love affair. Gorgeous rich tone and easy playability on both ukes. Friendly excellent people at Blackbird.
