RecommendedI received my new Farallon ukulele today! Took me all of 5 minutes to fall in love with this instrument. The sound and playability has exceeded my expectation. The wood free materials have solved my very frustrating humidity problem. I live in a cold, dry area of Canada (like Denver Co.) and have very low humidity in my condo. I have been playing a Pono Pro Classic solid wood uke but find after 1 hour out of the case the neck starts to flatten on me so I need to re-humidify, back into the case for 5 or 6 hours. Joe at Blackbird provides superb customer service. I've contacted him several times via email regarding my Farallon and Clara ukuleles, and he's been responsive, informative, and super helpful. And the instruments, well, they have to be played to be believed. Really amazing product, and superior customer support and communications. Highly recommended!

Wonderful company! I recently bought a new Savoy. It is quite the delight to play and has such a warm and bold sound from a smaller body. My only complaint was that, upon receiving my guitar, I noticed that the case was defective. I took pictures and emailed them to the company with my concern. They promptly contacted the case manufacturer and scheduled a replacement case to be sent to me along with a shipping label for the defective one to be returned. This is how a company should operate.
