One of the most well-known restaurants on the Island, Blackbeards serves a diverse clientele, and for that reason it can get very busy during the tourism/spring break season. The menu contains a tempting mix of drinks (Strawberry Daiquiri, Rum Punch), sandwiches (Yellowfin Tuna, The Pearl - a fried oyster po' boy) and other seafood dishes (Ginger Teriyaki Tuna Steak, Stuffed Shrimp). Make sure to get Cheese Sticks with... well... everything! The restaurant opens at 11:30a everyday.

The service was very good. The staff was great even though they were very busy. The place is really set up to turn covers. The food was mediocre at best. It could come straight off a buffet somewhere in Oklahoma. Any place on the gulf that serves Asian catfish and Atlantic salmon... The rice pilaf that came with the meal was from a box. The veg was bland and over cooked. The shrimp was also bland and over cooked.
Food was excellent! Catfish fresh and steak awesome! Will be back!

Great food and service. The roasted � lemon added a lot of flavor for the fish.
We took our son to Blackbeard’s yesterday for his 6th birthday. Our food was EXCELLENT and the portion sizes were huge! The awesome waitstaff even sang our boy an awesome “Happy Birtnday” song, and he was ecstatic! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. We will be back!
Great onion rings and burgers! The staff was attentive and the food arrived hot and delicious!
