One of the most well-known restaurants on the Island, Blackbeards serves a diverse clientele, and for that reason it can get very busy during the tourism/spring break season. The menu contains a tempting mix of drinks (Strawberry Daiquiri, Rum Punch), sandwiches (Yellowfin Tuna, The Pearl - a fried oyster po' boy) and other seafood dishes (Ginger Teriyaki Tuna Steak, Stuffed Shrimp). Make sure to get Cheese Sticks with... well... everything! The restaurant opens at 11:30a everyday.

I have been going there since 1985. Always great food and service.
I don’t know if they were off there game or trying a new cook. My food was bland! My son ordered a simple Berger. He didn’t like it also. I had a cup of clam chowder. So bland! I asked my friend how there’s was. They agreed the clam chowder was bland. My fish just no flavor. The whole experience was just so disappointing. But I didn’t complain because I didn’t want to ruin the lunch. But I would not recommend. They need a better cook!
Best burger on the island. The onion rings were superb.

Blackbeard’s is one of our favorite places. Food is always GOOD and the staff very friendly.
What a wonderful place to eat the food is so good!!! The b st catfish I have ever ate.
Food was great, drinks were tasty, and our waiter was funny and friendly!
My husband and I have tried several items from the menu our favorite being the "Mexican Shrimp Cocktail" it is to die for...a MUST try. We enjoy the atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant along with the friendly greetings of the staff.
The food was great! Not too bad on price. Service is a bit slow but really no complaints about server!
