One of the most well-known restaurants on the Island, Blackbeards serves a diverse clientele, and for that reason it can get very busy during the tourism/spring break season. The menu contains a tempting mix of drinks (Strawberry Daiquiri, Rum Punch), sandwiches (Yellowfin Tuna, The Pearl - a fried oyster po' boy) and other seafood dishes (Ginger Teriyaki Tuna Steak, Stuffed Shrimp). Make sure to get Cheese Sticks with... well... everything! The restaurant opens at 11:30a everyday.

Food was alright. Was excepting for there to be more of a selection. Ordered the surf and turf. It was a little proxy for a piece of meat that was mostly fat. Good service and friendly people.

We have been going to Blackbeard’s for years, however Saturday afternoon was a bad experience. While we were visiting SPI this past weekend, Both my husband and my daughters boyfriend ordered the chicken fried chicken....... both of them had food poisoning that same night! They vomited and had diarrhea all night long! They were the only ones who are the same thing. I’m really bummed because we spent $80 for a bad experience and we will not be going back. �

My husband and I have eaten here 2 days in a row and it has been AWESOME both times. I am not much on Seafood however the catfish was soooo good!! Our waiter was good each time and the food was so much we shared a platter yesterday and wish we had today. Great food at great prices! We hope to visit again if we are back in TX.
Bowel of clam chowder. Almost to big. 2nd best clam chowder in the free world.
My husband and I stopped in for a seafood salad and it was great. My husband couldn't even finish all of his. The service was great, too!
