RecommendedBlack Spruce Dog Sledding is my favorite place in Fairbanks! I’ve done a tour in both the winter and summer- both experiences were great! The owners, Jeff and Katti, are awesome people. The winter session great because we got to ride on an actual sled. Standing on the back of the sled was a lot of fun. The summer was also great because we got to take out the younger dogs and watch Jeff and Katti train them. I strongly recommend either time of the year, if not both. RecommendedIt was a great activity if you have ever thought about it, do it! We did it in june at first I was worried about the mosquitoes, my niece was visiting and loves dogs she insisted I go, man did I enjoy it. We would recommend it to anyone especially if you have kids, what a treat. I will look forward to doing it this winter. Plus this team races in the Iditarod. RecommendedThis was one of the best tours I have ever been on. If you like dogs and want to learn more about dog sledding this is the only place to go. The owners are the sweetest couple and the facility is amazing. The dogs were very sweet. We went on a hike with 14 dogs and cuddled with a litter of puppies. We learned so much and had a blast while doing it.
Everything we have done with them is wonderful, fun and educational! Gotta do it to say you did!!
