Ordered a cheesburger. Buns are too small ans soggy to hold a 1/2 lbs burger. Service could have been better. Waittress was missing for awhile.
Fantastic food in a great atmosphere. Duck fat fries, fish nuggets, & smoked salmon dip are delicious apps. The Spanish Sausage Burger is phenomenal.
My party of 6 finally ended up at the Black Sheep because I am a vegan and the options at other locations wasn't too good. We will only go to the BSSC from now on because everything about that meal was perfect! The drink choices were fantastic (and 2 for 1 for some of ours), everybody's meal was perfection (even those weirdos in my party that aren't vegan) and our waiter Benjamin was friendly, fun, cooperative and very patient. I'm not from the CR area but I'm trying to figure out a reason to go back very soon.
Went for our anniversary last night! The atmosphere and building are amazing and reading the history was unique and special. Our server was very polite and friendly but seemed stretched too thin. It seemed to take a long time between drinks, ordering, etc. Luckily we didn’t have plans after and could take our time! I had the Waldorf salad which was unique and great. Great service and food! Everything is perfect, the building, the food, the atmosphere and the staff. If we ever go back to Cedar Rapids we will stop in again!
Greeted immediately. Our server was busy so a different server politely took our drink orders. Great atmosphere! Our server could have been a bit more knowledgeable with the menu/ingredients of sauces etc. Very attentive service. Food was great. All 3 in our party liked their selection. Will be back for sure!
