Chris at Black Pug is both a great mechanic and an all around cool dude! He has worked on my road and mountain bikes and done a great job on both. He also hand-built the mountain bike wheelset of my dreams, patiently laying out all the build options, ordering the parts, and expertly assembling the wheels. He even became a Hope dealer so that he could give me a good price on the parts I wanted! What other LBS would do that? Great service, cool dude, fun pug! Well worth the drive to visit Chris.

In Yellow Springs from Columbus and got my bike tuned up. I am a serious cyclist and have spent a great deal of time in bike shops over the years and Black Pug Bike Repair is a wonderful bike shop! If you are visiting town and are in need of repairs definitely stop by. Awesome, knowledgable and friendly service.
Finally got my Peugeot UE8 out on the road today and want to thank Chris for the repair and tune work that keeps that bike the sweetest ride in the road.
I obtained a used recumbent bicycle that had not been ridden for a long while. Chris fixed the hydraulic brake and tuned it up perfectly! He picks up, and drops off your bike too. What a great service! Thanks so much Chris!
