The catch of the day was swordfish and it was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Best meal I've had all week!! The blackened swordfish with rice pilaf and roasted vegetables was to die for...and gluten free!!!
Shrimp n Grits are on point.... I chose to come here after seeing the Black Pelican Greenbrier being featured in the Hampton Roads Show .... My daughter devoured the Chicken n Waffles ... lol ...

I met the Chef during my career segment on The Hampton Roads Show in May..and I sampled the Shrimp and Grits. So today I said "let's do this and REALLY see what the restaurant is all about!" I had the lunch portion, OMG the most incredible flavors...and I would have licked the plate!! (But my hubby wouldn't let me) . Yes...I will be back!!!!!
This place is thisclose to being great. If they stepped up the service (had to go in search of our waitress a few times, ask for refills and napkins) and made sure the food comes out consistently hot it would justify the prices more. Love the one in Nags Head, trying to love the one so close to home.
