I was very disappointed considering it was the 1st time I had been, very overly priced, food was very bland

Sorry to hear you were disappointed with your visit Casey. If you felt it was over priced then perhaps join us for one of our weekly specials; Monday- $8.99 Pizza night, Tuesday- 1/2 price bottles of wine, Thursday- $12.99 Prime Rib night, or Monday-Saturday $7.00 lunch blue plate.
The food was absolutely amazing and a great variety. The Shrimp and Grits are so delicious, the serving was plentiful. I would highly recommend the Black Pelican Greenbrier.

Last night we had my daughters 30th birthday get together there. They were very accommodating even with last-minute changes. The food was fabulous the service impeccable. You really must try the Black Pelican if you haven't yet. You won't be disappointed.

Get the Wanchese Risotto!!! Or the pork shank!!! Or chicken and waffles!!! We were a party of seven, seated immediately, given the best service, easily substituted sides, and loved everything! The portions are HUGE and the seafood is fresh! We cannot wait to go back!

Their chicken salad is the best EVER! I wish I could buy it by the pound :-) Have visited 3 times and have not been disappointed!

The food is great, but the service sucks. Gav our waitress "Kelly" our appetizer order, it never came & then wen we complained to the manager, he didn't do a thing. She came to our table claiming we never ordered it. REALLY???? NO TIP 4 U!!! Never again. Pirate's Cove from now on!
