Amazing food and the Key Lime pie was to die for!!!

Great food and staff with a great atmosphere. Seafood entrees are top notch.
Been here a couple times, the food has always been great, and the wait staff is friendly and very accommodating when you have dietary issues.
Black Pelican was a disappointment. Tasted like food was sitting on a buffet in the kitchen for cooks to grab and give to us. Fries were served floppy and cold, shrimp were way over cooked, calimari was was soggy. No hushpuppies? So sad I was wanting some great food and got horrible. Plus drove an hour and 20 just to go. On upside our waiter was very sweet and apologetic. @BlackPelicanRestaurant
First time eating at Black Pelican Seafood Co. in Kitty Hawk. I would give them a 5 star rating. Each person at the table loved their dish. Will recommend them to anyone visiting the outer banks...Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
Most go for seafood, we went for the pizza.They serve "lunch size" so we ordered 2 kinds. Excellent!! Cold beer and pizza with a fab view...can't beat it.
We had the poboy sandwich and they were amazing!!!
