We come once a year on my remission date , we drive 45 min for the oyster bisque and sadly it's not on the lunch menu so I missed out this year. 2017 is gonna suck lol 😂

We live in Tyler but when we travel to Galveston ( about 3 times a year) we always stop here for lunch! Food and prices are great!!!!

soft shell crab po-boy was great and a generous serving of oysters on the half.
The oysters on the half shell were great. The service (Tatiana) was superb! Boiled shrimp may have "rested" a bit too much.
I've been to the Black Pearl 4 times now since discovery of the restaurant in November 2016. Everything I've ordered has been spectacular. You never go away hungry because the portions are huge. I would recommend splitting a plate. My favorite item is the crab cakes (dinner only). There are 2 cakes the size of hamburgers chunked full of crab meat (no shells)! They have a remoulade size over them and they are superb!
Excellent food and big portions. That plus the atmosphere makes it 5 stars in my book.
Was on vacation and was looking for some good seafood and didn't want to spend a fortune. Great food and great prices!
I just moved from California this was my second time eating here and both times the food was EXCELLENT!!!!! Love the oysters 3 way on a half shell!!!!
