The food was very fresh & absolutely delicious! Dave was our bartender/server and so friendly and personable; we felt very welcome! The homemade blue cheese salad dressing was so good, I bought some to bring home! If you're hungry, and enjoy great food & service, GO!!
Absolutely excellent gem of an establishment. As if the delicious food (many of the ingredients sourced locally!) isn't enough, there is an amazing beer selection, excellent cocktails, and friendly, knowledgeable staff! The seasonally changing menu, featured local artist, and fantastic line-up of live music and special events make the Black Gryphon a truly stand-out establishment. Worth a visit!!

They make you feel like family when you are here! The food is great and the beer and drink selection fantastic. Constantly rotating their taps to deliver the best craft beer, they use local ingredients in their food. Highly recommend this place!

Food is 85% local(tough to find local, wild-caught shrimp), so flavorful from the git-go. Next, the food is prepared to excellence and is the best food I have ever enjoyed, period. Lastly, you will find some interesting dishes and appetizers from several different countries; and specific techniques and methods utilized in preparation.
