Still my favorite after 10 years! Stopped in for a Bloody Mary and Burger and both were delicious. It’s rare that you get a Bloody Mary with homemade mix as opposed to commercial mix and this was Spicy, as requested! No need to fill it with bacon, sliders, shrimp, etc. The drink stood on its own merit. And the burger, perfection! Black Gryphon is the best this area has to offer, hands down. Check them out and learn how they support local farms and businesses with their fresh, seasonal menus. You won't find a more passionate chef eager to educate the masses about slow food than Toeny, and the special events, fundraisers, and pairings are a foodie's dream. My husband & I just enjoyed a wonderful Murder Mystery event at the Black Gryphon this evening, and what a fantastic night it was! The Irish themed food that went along with the Irish themed mystery was outstanding, the actors were very professional and good at their parts, and the entire night was just a lot of fun! We are so glad a place in the area is supporting the arts!! We look forward to dining here in the future and to coming to more events like this one!!!!
We have eaten at Black Gryphon countless times since they first opened. The food is always top notch. The dinning experience is the best around. We enjoy the fresh local menu they provide and that they change there menu with the season so everything is bought local and is fresh. The employees are always pleasant and very knowledgeable about how the meal is made and what goes into it. The dinner theater and bands are very well done and always done well.
