BEWARE!! Purchased a love seat cover. Didn't even come close to covering the love seat. HAD TO PAY RETURN SHIPPING. Then they deducted the original shipping from my refund. What a rip-off. Use to like Black Forest. Won't ever buy from them again.
Received a pair of lamps for a gift. Did not like them and called to return them. Was informed their policy was that customer pays for return shipping, they do not allow using their corporate rates. Shipping on a $300 order was $200. I called to suggest that they consider doing what other companies do (they generate the shipping label and subtract the cost from the value of the return). Customer service person had no interest in hearing this. She could have at least sounded receptive. Could have saved me 75% shipping ... read more
Bought a vanity light from Black Forest and they sent the wrong light. I sent them pictures showing the light and the part number on the part number on the box. Clearly not what I ordered. They responded that they have filed a claim and will let me know in 5-7 days. Really to decide if you will issue a RGA? This is not customer service. I do not know the quality of their products and never will as they will sell to you but will not stand behind their products or service.
Warning - their "quilts" are very cheap, one piece, printed poly fabric. No batting, very very light. Not worth $30 let alone the $100 + they sell them for. Also you cannot return clearance items. However they do not say that anywhere on the clearance page or the order page....
Never received my items customer service was pretty poor never received a tracking number and had to report the charge eventually as a fraudulent for the item purchased
I ordered a couple of chair covers and they worked out great, 5 start service!
Great service! Shopping at BFD was easy and my order arrived quickly. I am so pleased with the quality of the product, will be ordering again in the near future!
I would enter zero stars if given the opportunity. Horrible customer service, actually, NO customer service. I can't get them to respond to email, phone messages, NOTHING. Received the wrong product, and cannot get help to have them send the right product. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Covid or no Covid, respond and address issues is all I am asking.
I ordered a product back in April. I waited til the expected shipping date and never recieved an email about lateness. I called and emailed about to find out what happened. An email said it would be another week. I waited and still no shipping email or lateness email. So I cancelled the order. If this company wants business, try to make an effort to tell their customers what is going on with their orders.
