The place to be! Good prices, great location! Amazing maintenance crew!
The Blacherne has great apartments, truly. They’re very quiet, have nice floors, and offer good amenities. But if you can’t maintain the most basic things we pay rent for, you get a 1-star in my book. As soon as I moved in the parking garage elevator has been down (July 2025). At first, I thought, “No problem, I don’t mind taking the stairs for a few days.” But it’s now mid-September, and they’ve all but given up on fixing it. I lived here for 2 years and my girlfriend lived here for 3 years. Before I say anything I want to say Layla, Kimberly and all of the other managers in the leasing office were amazing. I have nothing but good things to say about the employees in the building given the hand they have been dealt. They are the only reason I’m giving two stars and not one.
