Had dinner there today, and the word I would use to describe the food is "Inconsistent". My Seafood chowder was excellent. My salmon succotash was very good, vegetables and fish cooked just right, but the last third of my fish was gelatinous and I was skeptical--didn't finish it. My mother-in-law had the escargot for an appetizer, which was bland. Her shrimp and pasta dish was bland and the pasta dry. There is no comparable restaurant in Michigan to Bistro 82 in terms of food taste/quality and the service, with its keen attention to detail.
Great food and great service. If you’re a foodie like I am, this place is for you. Had such an awesome time. Also our server was amazing also.

Fabulous dining experience!
Seems to be very poorly managed. Good customer service is a very fundamental minimum you should attempt to achieve. Everyone from wait staff to the manager act like they are doing you a favor when dining here rather than vis-versa.
