Awesome food and awesome service. I especially enjoyed the beef wellington and pear salad.

Had a reservation and the Sloppy looking man at the door told us we didn’t have a reservation. It took him a while to decide where to put us. Of course near the restroom. Food was just ok. Not worth the $$$$ for Easter lunch. Way overpriced.
Had a last minute change (for the 2nd time) for our dinner destination with friends, but my wife and I were already standing in Bistro 27 when we got the message to meet elsewhere. Noticing my wife’s anxious face from running around in the cold and now having to go back out, owner, William Wright, graciously insisted we relax for a moment and have a drink on him. This is now my favorite restaurant in Richmond....and I have been to a ton of them. The atmosphere, friendly staff, incredible service and AMAZING FOOD was such a pleasant surprise. I was just interested in trying something new and found Bistro 27 on Open Table. My salmon and Caesar salad were fabulous...even the bread was amazing. And the staff makes you feel like every meal is made especially for you....owner/manager came and served us and talked regularly in a helpful way. Great Friday night!
