I have had kids in three of Mobile's hospitals; and unfortunately, I have not had the best experience. This past November 2025 all of that changed. Lori (the nursing manager) was sent to me by God! I am still thanking Jesus for sending me to her. She was extremely knowledgeable, patient, caring, compassionate, and helped me in a way that has changed my negative views' on the hospital setting. I cannot begin to explain how positive and supportive the team here is at Springhill. I met a lot of people in a short amount of time and have so many positive things to say about each and every person here. I’m extremely grateful to Dr. Dix who delivered my son this week. Not only was he extremely communicative during my birth, but even during my pregnancy. Katen, care tech, came in my wife’s birthing suite and changed all the linen for her at 10 PM. She was very nice and professional. Thank you for your help!
I delivered all three of children there. I love the birthing suits (especially the toilets). The nurses are God-sent, and the food is great. They went the extra mile and even helped me by watching the baby in the nursery sometimes so I can rest. I couldn’t see myself delivering anywhere else.
