I had my third child here and it was the absolute worst experience. The rooms and bathrooms were very dirty. I ordered food with nutrition after my c section and was never brought the food. I informed my nurse and she said that sucks. My baby lost a little weight after birth which is normal and my nurse attempted to force me to give my baby formula. I took my newborn to the pediatrician the next day and she stated that baby was perfectly fine and hadn’t lost any weight outside of the norm. I asked my nurse for more body wash... read more

The attention and care my wife and baby received here were exceptional. So many friends have raved about this place and we now know why! Scary stores from other places are ridiculous and avoidable. We tell all our friends to only look at St Vincent’s. Excellent lactation help Excellent nurses Excellent doctors from Birmingham OBGYN specifically. Excellent feeling. Tiny niggle at check in the staff there were a little lower quality, but the life saving love we had everywhere else made up for it!

After my epidural, I did not feel a thing. The nurses we worked with were amazing. ... read more

Can’t say enough wonderful things about all the nurses. They were wonderful, supportive, and kind. Couldn’t have done it without them.

Good place to give birth to your bundle of joy. Nurses was great and I can’t say enough about the lactation specialist they go above and beyond. The only complaint I have is we was waiting on mothers milk to come in and they was really pushing formula on us. They had gave us 2 donor milks then Dr Hightower orders was we had to go to formula or they would not give any more donor milk when they had plenty available. We wanted to do all natural but they wouldn’t give us much of a choice. You would think donor milk would be bett... read more
